The National Cadet Corps (NCC) is a voluntary organization in India that trains young people in basic military skills and develops their leadership and patriotic qualities:
The NCC is the youth wing of the Indian Armed Forces and is open to school and college students. It's a tri-service organization that includes the Army, Navy, and Air Force.
The NCC offers a range of activities, including drill, weapon training, adventure training, and social service. The NCC's goal is to develop young people into disciplined, patriotic, and united citizens of India.
The NCC's motto is "Unity and Discipline". Cadets who complete the NCC course are not required to serve in the active military.
The NCC is open to all regular students on a voluntary basis.
